Museum of Medicine in Ukraine known around the world for its unique collection of exhibits, as well as their specific focus. A lot of art and historical museums have been opened all over the world, but, unfortunately, not a lot of such in-depth topics.
The history of the museum began in 1853 with the advent of the anatomical theater, which in 1973, thanks to the work of the honored worker of science of Ukraine, Professor A. A. Grando, doctor of medical sciences, was converted into the museum that we see now.
National Museum of Medicine of Ukraine opened to demonstrate the famous collection of bones, as well as to enable the visitor to get acquainted with the history of the development of medicine, to see in the faces of those legendary scientists, thanks to which doctors manage to take care of our health in modern times. It is interesting that the exhibits tell not only about the development of medicine over the past centuries, but also cover the ancient periods, offering visitors the medical chronicles that were in use at that time, ancient medical instruments, and medicinal plants, due to which treatment was carried out.
The museum will be interesting to everyone who is interested in medicine and the development of the history of Ukrainian culture.
