There is a fortress on Mount Montjuic, which played a crucial role in the history of the city. The exposition was located in the open territory of the fortress and in several halls located in the fortifications. In the open territory there were artillery pieces of different eras. In the courtyard of the museum there was a cafe where you could drink a cup of coffee or a glass of wine next to the once formidable cannons, howitzers, long-range guns.

The halls housed one of the largest collections of toy soldiers. The number of exhibits aroused admiration of tourists - more than 20 thousand figures. From soldiers and models of military equipment were composed compositions depicting great battles, battles, military operations. In the neighboring halls there were exhibitions of military equipment, uniforms, military maps, models of ancient castles and fortresses. All exhibits familiarized visitors with military history for 700 years. The halls with cold (knives, daggers, navajas, sabers, swords) and firearms (pistols, rifles, machine guns, machine guns) weapons enjoyed the greatest attention of male visitors.

The idea of the museum is to comprehend the military past in order to prevent future armed conflicts.
